Nice looking sticker for GB Radio.  Made to look like a international vehicle registration code sticker.  Anyone know what the bees in the logo are for?  Gwent have some sort of bee history?

GB Radio was the short-lived station for Newport (Gwent).  GB Radio started in June 1983 and ran into financial problems soon after.  CBC Radio - the Cardiff local station - acquired the Newport license in 1985, combined the transmission areas and relaunched as Red Dragon Radio.

Nice example of a coaster-sized, sticky-backed sticker for Capital Radio.

Sticky-backed and just smaller than a postcard, I'd guess that this was the launch sticker for Greater London Radio (GLR).  Other versions of this logo have the BBC logo just above the 94.

Little bit of a muddled look to this sticker for BBC Wiltshire Sound.  I do like the Westbury chalk horse and the colours used, but there seems to be too many fonts in too many sizes.

BBC Wiltshire Sound started in 1989.  In 2002 the frequencies were split and two seperate stations were launched - BBC Radio Wiltshire and BBC Radio Swindon.  Today, the breakfast programmes are the only real difference between the two stations.  All other programming is shared.

It's a radio station (the headphones back that up), it'll make you smile, plus a rhyme which reminds you where on the dial to find them - yeah, it's cheesy but come on, this has to be one of the most perfect stickers ever!

Centre Radio, launched in 1981, was the short-lived local radio station for Leicester.  It closed in 1983 after massive financial problems.  The licence was readvertised and awarded to Leicester Sound - which continues to this day. 

I'm not sure whether this is simple (in a good way) or uninspiring.  Key information is clear - so I suppose it has done its job.

The station is called 2-Ten because it started on 210m on Medium Wave and was called Radio 210.  Was it / is it sensible to keep calling it 2Ten nowadays? - hmm...debateable.  Because it's been going so long locals will know the name, but the name on its own doesn't say where the station is or what frequency it is on.  A competitor in the area has a boring but a possibly more sensible name of Reading 107fm.

BBC Radio London launched in 1970 and lasting with this name until 1988.  It became Greater London Radio (GLR) for the next 12 years.  2000 saw it relaunched as BBC London Live.  A year later and another name change, this time BBC LDN and then BBC London 94.9.  Am I the only one who thinks BBC Radio London is the best name for it? 

A really good looking, clear, well-designed sticker for BBC Radio Solent.  Some would say the broadcast frequency is missing.  I prefer the less cluttered approach.

Formerly known as BBC Radio Brighton - and covering just that town, it expanded to cover the whole of Sussex in 1983.

In 1994 the station expanded to cover Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire and was relaunched as BBC Southern Counties Radio.

Generic corporate looking sticker for Hastings ILR Arrow FM.  I suppose the yellow circles could be the direction of an arrow.  Shame on me for sounding like an anorak again!  I don't wear glasses and a bobble hat, honest!

According to the station, it has, "The best variety of music, news, sport and information for Hastings and 1066 Country".

Playing the best music variety eh?  Is that different to other stations claiming they have today's best mix of music or more music variety.  Everyone seems to have the best!?! 

The station started its life as KFM in 1995, later becoming Mercury FM around 2000 and eventually becoming KM-fm 2-3 years later.
