GWR FM Bristol the station with a 'Better Music Mix' - any regular commercial radio listener will more than likely have heard that slogan at some point on one of the former GWR Group owned stations. Some hate it, some love it. What say you?

GWR 1990 A nice colourful sticker for GWR FM. Interesting that they dropped the inverted commas from the logo (see this sticker from 1988). Perhaps signalling the reduction in chatter.

Also quite interesting to note that GWR didn't think it was necessary back then to promote their specific frequency.

Early sticker for GWR. A speech and music station - that's why the inverted commas are on staves.

GWR launched in 1985 after the merger of Radio West and Wiltshire Radio.
