I'm not sure whether this is simple (in a good way) or uninspiring. Key information is clear - so I suppose it has done its job.
The station is called 2-Ten because it started on 210m on Medium Wave and was called Radio 210. Was it / is it sensible to keep calling it 2Ten nowadays? - hmm...debateable. Because it's been going so long locals will know the name, but the name on its own doesn't say where the station is or what frequency it is on. A competitor in the area has a boring but a possibly more sensible name of Reading 107fm.
